CJC-1295

What is CJC-1295?

CJC-1295 is a synthetic analog of Growth Hormone–Releasing Hormone (GHRH), designed to stimulate natural growth hormone (GH) and IGF-1 secretion through the pituitary–hypothalamic axis.

It exists in two main research forms:

  • CJC-1295 DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) — long-acting version with a plasma half-life of ~7–10 days

  • CJC-1295 (no DAC) — shorter-acting form with a half-life of ~30 minutes to 2 hours

CJC-1295 is studied for its ability to promote pulsatile GH release, supporting research into anti-aging, metabolism, recovery, and muscle growth.

How It Works

CJC-1295 acts by binding to GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotroph cells, amplifying the body’s own growth hormone pulses.

The DAC-modified version attaches to serum albumin, extending its duration and allowing for sustained GH elevation over multiple days.

Key mechanisms observed in research:

  1. Increases endogenous GH and IGF-1 secretion

  2. Supports protein synthesis and cellular repair

  3. Enhances lipid metabolism and energy balance

  4. Improves sleep quality and regenerative processes

  5. Supports neuroendocrine and immune function

Potential Research Benefits

Dosing

CJC-1295 (no DAC)

100–200 mcg

1–3× daily (to coincide with GH pulses)

CJC-1295 DAC

1–2 mg

1× weekly or bi-weekly

  • Half-life:
    No DAC: ~30 min – 2 h
    DAC: ~7–10 days

  • Cycle duration (research): 8–12 weeks

  • Synergistic research: Frequently combined with Ipamorelin or GHRP-2/6 to amplify GH pulse amplitude
