TB500

What is TB-500?

TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4) is a synthetic version of a naturally occurring peptide present in almost all human and animal cells.

It plays a critical role in tissue regeneration, wound healing, inflammation control, and angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels).

In research settings, TB-500 is often studied for its systemic repair and recovery properties, making it a cornerstone peptide in regenerative and performance research.

How It Works

TB-500 functions primarily by modulating actin, a key cellular protein responsible for structure and movement.

By increasing actin production and organization, TB-500 helps cells migrate and repair damaged tissue faster.

Mechanisms observed in research:

  1. Enhanced cell migration & repair

  2. Stimulated angiogenesis (new blood vessels)

  3. Reduced inflammation

  4. Neuroprotective & cardiac support effects

  5. Accelerated recovery in muscle, tendon, and ligament tissue

Potential Research Benefits

Tissue regeneration

Enhanced wound, tendon, and ligament healing

Inflammation control

Reduction of inflammatory cytokines

Cardiac research

Improved heart tissue repair post-injury

Muscle recovery

Faster recovery following exercise or strain

Neuroprotection

Support for nerve regeneration in experimental models

Dosing

Injectable (subcutaneous or intramuscular)

2–5 mg per week

Split into 2–3 doses

Maintenance phase

2 mg weekly

Optional continuation cycle

  • Cycle length (research): 4–8 weeks

  • Half-life: ~12 hours (systemic effects may last longer)

  • Combination studies: Frequently studied alongside BPC-157 for synergistic repair effects
